The Johnson nunatak is an isolated nunatak on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It rises 6 km east of the southern end of the Linton Smith Nunatakker on the eastern flank of the Amery Ice Shelf .

Aerial photos were taken during the US operation Highjump (1946–1947). The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1971 after Frank R. "Narra" Johnson, radio operator at Mawson Station in 1968, 1970 and 1974, who was also involved in surveying the Prince Charles Mountains in 1971 and wintered in 1975 on Macquarie Island would have.
