The Johnston Heights are up to 3,220 m high hills in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Grosvenor Mountains they form the southeastern part of the Otway massif .
The United States Geological Survey mapped them based on their own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1970 after the geologist David P. Johnston, a member of a team of the United States Antarctic Research Program to study this area between 1967 and 1968.
