history

In 1999, Jokers began as a brand in the Weltbild publishing group and purely mail order business for modern antiquarian bookshops and sent out the first catalog. From the spring of 2000, articles could also be purchased online via the shop. In 2001 Jokers opened the first branch on Hohenzollernplatz in Munich . Jokers now operates 24 branches across Germany.

Products

The multichannel provider specializes in modern second-hand bookshops. This includes remaining editions, special editions, returns with defects and rarities that are often no longer available in regular bookshops or that were only printed in very small editions. In addition to books, Jokers also sells calendars, audio books, CDs, DVDs and games.
