Jola Bink

Jola Bink (born September 21, 1964 ) is a former Dutch judoka . She was third in the 1982 World Cup.

Athletic career

Jola Bink fought in the super light weight category up to 48 kilograms until 1984 . From 1981 to 1983 she was the Dutch national champion three times. In 1982 she reached the final at the international tournament in Leonding and then lost to the British Karen Briggs . At the end of 1982 at the World Championships in Paris she reached the semifinals with a victory over the Swede Lena Bergqvist . After a loss to French Marie-France Colignon , Bink defeated Canadian Tina Takahashi in the battle for a bronze medal . In May 1983 at the European Championships in Genoa, she lost in the quarter-finals to the Finn Jaana Ronkainen . After defeating the Pole Wanda Gondek , Bink lost the battle for bronze against the French Fabienne Boffin .

Jola Bink was still active in the higher weight classes for a few years, but could no longer build on the successes until 1983.
