Jolan Rieger

Jolan Rieger (née Wendel ; born October 10, 1931 in Veliki Bečkerek , Yugoslavia ) is a German psychologist and poet .

Life

The displaced Banat German Jolan Rieger has lived and worked in Germany since 1955 . Since graduating from the University of Cologne in 1975, she has been active in the field of clinical psychology . In addition, she developed her talent in painting as an autodidact . In her neo-expressionist and powerful painting style, she has created several hundred large-format exhibits to this day. Thematically, women's and relationship problems are mainly addressed in her figurative and colorful works. Since 1996 she has also dedicated herself to poetry . So far, 42 volumes of books have been published in which she addresses current issues of our time in parables between descriptions of nature and inner-soul processes.
