Jonah Lotan
Yair "Jonah" Lotan (born July 3, 1973 in Jerusalem ) is an Israeli actor .
Life
Lotan grew up in Jerusalem and New York State , where his parents, a psychologist and a doctor, studied. He did his three-year military service with the paratroopers of the Israel Defense Forces in the 1990s.
In his early 20s, Lotan modeled and moderated children's television. He graduated from Tel Aviv University , acted in a telenovela and then moved to London to do his Masters at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art . During this time he worked as a waiter and Hebrew teacher and wrote for Israeli newspapers. He had his breakthrough in the US with a supporting role in the 5th season of the crime television series 24 . His oeuvre since 1997 includes more than 20 film and television productions, with the focus on the latter.
Lotan lives in Los Angeles and was engaged to British actress Kelly Reilly in 2008 .
