Jonas Torsten Krüger (* 1967 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German writer for young adult books , crime fiction and fantasy.

His first poetry was published in 1993, and in 2000 he took second place in the Wolfgang Hohlbein Prize . In 2003 he won the German Environment Prize for Youth Literature for The Secret of the Dunes . Jonas Torsten Krüger lives in Berlin and Freiburg.
