Thilo Krapp

Thilo Krapp (born September 23, 1975 in Herdecke ) is a German children's book author , illustrator and comic author . He also publishes under the name Tiló .

Live and act

Thilo Krapp grew up in Hagen . After school, he performed in the AIDS-Hilfe Hagen community service . He then studied communication design at the University of Wuppertal and graduated with a diploma in illustration from Wolf Erlbruch in 2004 .

From 2005 he published children's books by various authors. In 2008 he published The Green Jaguar, the first part of the Damien and Alexander adventure series , the second part, Jungle Love, followed in 2013.

He developed the Piratten series with Martin Petersen for the Hamburg magazine StadtlicHH .

Thilo Krapp lives in Berlin. In addition to his artistic activities, he taught at the vocational school "Academy of Illustration and Design" in the subject comic / graphic novel.
