Martin Ebbertz

Martin Ebbertz (born July 6, 1962 in Aachen ) is a German writer and screenwriter .

Life

After his birth in Aachen, Martin Ebbertz spent his childhood and youth in Prüm . His studies in German , philosophy and history took him to Freiburg , Münster and finally to Frankfurt . There he then took up his work as a freelance writer, which was followed by a five-year stay in Thessaloniki (Greece). From spring 2000 until 2015 Ebbertz lived in Boppard and since then again in Frankfurt.

After his first book publication in 1988, Ebbertz started writing children's books in 1992 . His most successful book to date, Little Mr. Jaromir , which depicts a lovable outsider's difficulties with the achievements of the modern world, has also been translated into English, Dutch and Chinese. His stories for children were on the radio and in the children's radio play Ohrenbär of rbb read. Ebbertz has been running the Razamba publishing house since 2008 , in which, in addition to publications by other authors, a. publishes in a small-format lyric series under the imprint Edition Razamba , not least self-publications of new editions of previously out of print titles as well as original editions.
