Joos Berry (born May 8, 1990 ) is a Swiss freestyle skier . He starts in the ski cross discipline .

Career

Joos Berry lives in Mels and is a member of the Grüsch-Danusa ski club. He started the 2010/11 season for the first time in the European Ski Cross Cup and finished in 59th place. In the 2015/16 season, the 2nd place behind Ryan Regez was his best overall placement in the European Cup.

He made his debut in the Freestyle World Cup on December 12, 2012 in Val Thorens and achieved 47th place. He surprisingly achieved his first World Cup victory on December 22, 2018 in San Candido . Exactly one year later to the day he repeated this victory.

In March 2019, he secured the title of Swiss champion for the first time in Hoch-Ybrig , after finishing 2nd in the previous year.

At the 2019 Freestyle Skiing World Championships in Park City , he came in 23rd place.
