Jordan Cantwell

Jordan Cantwell (* 1967 in New York ) is a Canadian theologian and clergyman of the United Church of Canada .

Life

Cantwell has served the United Church of Canada since the 1990s, a . a. in South Africa on a mission to overcome racism organized by the World Council of Churches . It was not until 2006 that she began studying theology at St. Andrew's College at the University of Saskatchewan , was ordained pastor of her church in 2010 and took over a small congregation in Delisle, Saskatchewan . In 2015, she was elected to succeed Gary Paterson as moderator of the United Church of Canada. She is married to Laura Fouhse, has one child and lives in Saskatoon .
