Jordan Neuman

Jordan Neuman (* 23. August 1983 in Fort Worth ) is a former American American football poker players and current coach.

career

Neuman played American football as a student at Western Hills High School in his hometown of Fort Worth. From 2001 to 2004 he was quarterback for the team at McMurry University (third NCAA division) in the US state of Texas . In 2005 he went to Germany and played for the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns . At the same time he got involved in the youth work of the club and was also the player- coach of the baseball team of the Schwäbisch Hall Renegades . After the 2008 season, he ended his competitive sports career in Schwäbisch Hall and devoted himself entirely to his coaching duties. In 2009 and 2010 Neuman coordinated the attacking game of the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns as a member of the coaching staff, and from 2011 to 2013 he held the same position for the Vienna Vikings . With the Viennese he won the Austrian championship and the Eurobowl twice .

For the 2014 season he returned to the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns, working again as an offensive coordinator and at the same time in the junior division. He became the club's first full-time football coach. In addition, he joined the German men's national team's coaching staff in 2014, where he took on the care of the players in the quarterback position, including at the 2014 European Championship when the Germans won gold. In October 2016, Neuman succeeded Siegfried Gehrke as the new head coach of Schwäbisch Halls.

Neuman, whose wife is from Schwäbisch Hall, led the team to win the German championship in 2017 and 2018, after the "unicorns" had finished second in each of the previous three years. In addition to his job as head coach of the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns, Neuman also took over the management of the club's junior academy.
