Jordan Bernard Rossiter (born March 24, 1997 in Liverpool ) is an English football player who is on loan from the Glasgow Rangers to Fleetwood Town . He is primarily used in midfield .

Career

Rossiter began his career at Liverpool FC . In December 2013 he was against Chelsea for the first time in the professional squad of Liverpool. He made his debut for this in September when he was in the starting line-up in the third round match of the League Cup against FC Middlesbrough and was replaced by Jordan Williams in the 79th minute . In the game that Liverpool won after a 2-2 draw in regular time with 16:15 on penalties, he also scored his first goal for Liverpool with the goal of the interim 1-0.

He played in the Premier League for the first time in August 2015 when he was brought into play for Lucas Leiva on matchday three of the 2015/16 season against Arsenal in the 76th minute . This was his only league game for Liverpool.

After his contract with Liverpool ended, he moved to Scotland for the Glasgow Rangers for the 2016/17 season . In his first season with the Rangers, he came to four appearances in the Scottish Premiership . In the 2017/18 season he played two games in which he scored one goal. After four league appearances in the 2018/19 season, he was loaned back to England to fourth division club Bury in January 2019 . For Bury he came to 16 missions in League Two by the end of the season , in which he scored one goal. With Bury he rose to League One at the end of the season .

In July 2019 it was awarded a second time, this time to the English third division club Fleetwood Town .

National team

Rossiter played for various English youth national teams. He took part in the European Championships in 2016 with the U-19 selection . In this one failed in the semifinals to Italy .
