Jordi Soler (writer)
Jordi Soler (* 1963 in La Portuguesa , Veracruz ) is a Mexican writer .
Live and act
The son of Catalan parents works as a journalist and radio editor alongside his literary work. From 2000 to 2003 he lived as Mexico's cultural attaché in Dublin , Ireland . Today he lives in Barcelona , the city that his family left for political reasons at the end of the Spanish Civil War .
Jordi Soler has so far remained largely unknown in German-speaking countries. The German translation of his latest novel La fiesta del oso ( The Bear Festival ) was published by Albrecht Knaus Verlag in September 2011 .
