Joren Zeeman (born May 31, 1989 in Cambridge ) is a Canadian volleyball player .

Career volleyball

Zeeman began his career at Woodland Christian High School. From 2007 to 2012 he studied at Queen's University and played on the university team of the Gaels. In 2012 the middle blocker, who also has Dutch citizenship, moved to the Dutch league to VCV Veenendaal . In 2013/14 he played for the German Bundesliga club Chemie Volley Mitteldeutschland . After an engagement in Sweden with Habo Volley, Zeeman ended his volleyball career in 2016. Then he was one season "Assistant Coach" at the Ryerson Rams in Toronto .

Private / professional

After his volleyball career, Zeeman ran a sawmill in Millgrove with his wife Becky . His sister Carling is a rower.
