Jorge Herrero
Jorge Herrero Martín (born April 14, 1936 in Madrid ) is a Spanish cameraman .
Life
Herrero started his career as a camera assistant in 1956 and worked as a simple cameraman from 1960, starting with Marco Ferreri's The Wheelchair ("El cochecito"). Herrero stayed in this position until 1967. In that year, Jorge Herrero, who was allowed to photograph a short film independently for the first time in 1964, was appointed chief cameraman.
At the side of his German colleague Franz Hofer , the Spaniard photographed four trash productions for Adrian Hoven's company in 1967 , of which Necronomicon - Dreamed Sins and In the Castle of Bloody Desire - caused quite a sensation. In later years Herrero also stood behind the camera in domestic television productions. His last job was camera work on a television series in the mid-1990s.
