Jorge Lavat
Jorge Lavat Bayona (born August 3, 1933 in Mexico City ; † September 14, 2011 ibid) was a Mexican actor who was best known as the voice actor of "Gomez Addams" in the Spanish-language version of The Addams Family .
Life
Lavat came from a well-known Mexican family of artists. His older sister Queta Lavat is an actress who has starred in over 130 films, while his younger half-brother José Lavat was an actor in the film Medicine Man - The Last Days of Eden (1992).
He made his own debut as an actor in 1958 in the television series Senda prohibida and shortly afterwards as a film actor in Las mil y una noches . In the following decades he starred in over 80 other films and television series.
He was also widely known as the voice actor for "Gomez Addams" in the Spanish-language version of The Addams Family . Most recently, shortly before his death in 2011, he played the role of "Julio Arisméndi" in several episodes of the television series Eva Luna .
His daughter Adriana Lavat is also an actress and is married to soccer player Rafael Márquez .
