Jorge Llanos is an Argentine pool player .
Career
In July 2001, Jorge Llanos managed to get into the final round of the 9-Ball World Championship , where he was eliminated in the round of 64 against Kevin Smith from England . After he was eliminated in the group last in the preliminary round in 2002 , he reached the round of 64 at the 9-ball world championships in 2003 and 2004. In 2003, Llanos was Pan-American 9-ball champion by beating Aruban Ditto Acosta in the final . In September 2006, he made it into the finals of a Euro Tour tournament for the first time at the Netherlands Open . However, he was eliminated in the round of 32 against the Austrian Dejan Dabovic . In December 2010 he reached the round of 32 of the Costa Blanca Open and was defeated there by the Englishman Raj Hundal . At the Pan American Championship 2012 , Llanos won the final in 8-ball against his compatriot Ariel Casto . At the Pan American Championships in 2015 he reached the final in 8-ball and was defeated there by the Mexican Ignacio Chávez . In 2016 , he won the final against Frailin Guanipa for the second time as the Pan American 9-ball champion.
