Ariel Casto is an Argentine pool player .

Career

In September 2009, Ariel Casto reached third place in 9-ball at the Pan American Championship . At the Pan American Championship in 2012 he made it to the finals in two disciplines. After losing in the 8-ball final to his compatriot Jorge Llanos , he won the 10-ball final against the Venezuelan Franklin Martinez , becoming the Pan American champion for the first time. A year later he again reached the final in 8-ball, in which he was defeated by the Venezuelan Jalal Yousef . At the 2015 Pan American Championships , he won the bronze medal in 8-ball and silver in 9-ball after losing to Christopher Tevez in the final . In July 2016 he took part in the 9-ball world championship for the first time and was eliminated from the preliminary round after losing to Lo Li-wen and Shane van Boening without a win. At the Pan American Championships in 2016 , he finished third in 9-ball.
