Career

In September 2009 Christopher Tevez won the Pan American Junior Championships in 9-ball and 10-ball . At the Pan American Championship 2011 he won the gold medal in the men's 9-ball by beating Venezuelan Jonny Martinez in the final . A year later he lost in the final to Jalal Yousef . In September 2013 Tevez first took part in the 9-ball world championship and was eliminated from the preliminary round without a win. In July 2014, he became the Pan American champion in 9-ball for the second time in the final against the Guatemalan Luis Lemus . At the Pan American Championship in 2015 , he managed to defend the title in the final against Ariel Casto . In September 2015 he was eliminated from the preliminary round of the 9-Ball World Cup . At the 9-Ball World Cup in 2016 , he achieved a 9: 6 opening win against former world champion Daryl Peach . However, he then lost to Francisco Sánchez and Roberto Gomez and was eliminated again in the preliminary round. At the Pan American Championship in 2016 , he won the bronze medal in the 8-ball.
