Jonny Martínez is a Venezuelan pool player .
Career
In August 2008, Jonny Martinez made it into the final of the Pan American Championship for the first time, in which he was defeated by the Chilean Alejandro Carvajal . In 2011 he reached the final in 9-ball and lost it against the Peruvian Christopher Tevez . In June 2012 Martinez took part for the first time in the 9-ball world championship and reached the sixteenth-finals, in which he was eliminated with 7:11 against the German Ralf Souquet . At the Pan American Championship in 2014 , he won the bronze medal in 9-ball. In January 2016 he finished 29th in the 9-ball competition of the Derby City Classics .
