José Arturo Trejo Nava

José Arturo Trejo Nava (born November 25, 1955 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican ambassador .

Life

José Arturo Trejo Nava holds a bachelor's degree in physics and mathematics from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional and a master's degree in "International Relations" from Boston University in the USA. Trejo Nava joined his country's foreign service in 1980, where he headed the Eastern Europe department. He was accredited as chargé d'affaires in Germany and Russia . From May 2001 to November 2007 he was Ambassador to Belize and from November 2007 to August 2016 Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, where he was also accredited to the governments of Bahrain , Kuwait , Oman and Yemen . He has been ambassador to Romania since August 26, 2016. Trejo Nava has taught at the University of Belize, the Universidad de Quintana Roo , the National Defense College and the Naval Academy in Mexico.
