José Cornélio Guterres (2019)

José Cornélio Guterres (born December 20, 1966 ) is an East Timorese university professor.

Guterres was a professor at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at Universidade Nasionál Timór Lorosa'e UNTL (as of 2008) and is currently Director of the Post Graduate Program at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at Universidade da Paz UNPAZ. He received his intermediate diploma in Indonesia and his Masters and PhD in Manila . In 2012 Guterres was Director of Research and Technical Information at the Secretariat of the National Parliament .

Guterres has been a member of the State Council since 2018 .
