José Escolástico Marín

José Escolastico Marín (* Ciudad San Vicente ; † 1846 ibid) was from February 1, 1842 to April 14, 1842 Supremo Director of El Salvador .

Life

His family lived at the Sihuatepeque Hacienda. The uprising of Nonualcos early 1833 his brother Florencio was at the Hacienda firing squad . His sister Matilde married Anastasio Martir Aquino San Carlos . He was a member of the Partido Conservador

Presidency

José Escolastico Marín placed the Department of La Paz and the Partidos de Olocuilta under the administrative sovereignty of the city of San Vicente on February 1, 1842 . Opico was released from the administrative sovereignty of the Department of Cuscatlán and placed under the administrative sovereignty of the Department of San Salvador .

He was killed while trying to overthrow Eugenio Aguilar Gonzalez Batres .
