José Hernández Fernández (born March 13, 1990 in Santo Domingo ) is a Dominican tennis player .

Career

José Hernández mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far he has celebrated six single and four double victories on the Future Tour. On the Challenger Tour he has won the doubles tournament in Mendoza in 2016 alongside Máximo González .

José Hernández has played for the Dominican Davis Cup team since 2006 . For this he competed in 16 matches, with a balance of 8: 9 in singles and 6: 4 in doubles.

On May 11, 2015, he broke through the top 200 in the world rankings for the first time and his highest ranking was 179th in August 2015.
