José Luiz de Oliveira , called Zé Luiz , (born November 16, 1904 in Rio de Janeiro , † unknown) was a Brazilian national soccer player .

career

Zé Luiz started his career in 1922 at SE Palmeiras in São Paulo . After two years, the player moved to São Cristóvão AC where he won the championship of Rio in 1926 under coach Luís Vinhaes .

With the Brazilian national team, he took part in the first World Cup in Uruguay in 1930 , alongside his club mates Alfredo Almeida Rego "Doca" and Teóphilo Bettencourt Pereira . Here he was used in the 4-0 win against Bolivia. In the same year he came to two more internationals.
