José Manuel Velázquez (born September 8, 1990 in Ciudad Bolívar ) is a Venezuelan football player .

Career

society

Velázquez began his professional career in 2007 at CD Lara in Barquisimeto . In 2008 he moved to Deportivo Anzoátegui where he was able to win the first professional title of his career with the Venezuelan club cup. Between 2009 and 2012 he was under contract with the second team of Villarreal CF , but did not play any competitive matches there. Instead, he was loaned to AC Mineros where he was able to win the Venezuelan Cup again in 2011. Between July 2012 and his early termination in November 2013, Velázquez was under contract with Panathinaikos Athens from Greece .

National team

Velázquez has played from the U-15 to the U-20 for all of Venezuela's youth national teams, with whom he has participated in a number of international tournaments. The most important tournaments were the U-17 World Cup in 2007 and the U-20 World Cup in 2009 .

He made his debut with the senior national team of Venezuela on March 28, 2009 in the game against Argentina .
