José Nieto (born March 1, 1942 in Madrid ) is a Spanish composer.

Life

Nieto began playing professionally in orchestras in 1962. In 1970 he composed his first score for the film La Lola, dicen que no vive sola . So far, Nieto has received six Goyas for the best composition.
