José Ramón Maranzano

José Ramón Maranzano (born November 27, 1940 in Santiago del Estero ) is an Argentine composer.

Maranzano studied at the Catholic University of Buenos Aires with Alberto Ginastera , Gerardo Gandini , Roberto Caamaño and Francisco Kröpfl . He lives as a music critic and freelance composer in Buenos Aires. In addition to chamber music works, he composed symphonic studies , music for orchestra , a cantata symphony and choral works a cappella, with orchestra and with electronic instruments.
