Josef Anton Nieder

Josef Anton (von) Nieder (born February 16, 1848 in Steinach , † February 18, 1906 in Stuttgart ) was a German politician ( center ).

Life

After graduating from high school in Ehingen in 1866 , Nieder studied law at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen from 1867 to 1871 . There he became a member of the Catholic student association AV Guestfalia Tübingen . After graduation, he worked as a legal trainee in Ravensburg. In 1874 he became a judicial assessor and later worked as a local judge in Balingen and Neuenheim. In 1881 he became district judge in Schwäbisch Hall and in 1890 district judge in Ellwangen. From 1898 he was district court director in Ellwangen .

From 1895 to 1906 Nieder was a member of the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament for the city of Ellwangen .

He was raised to the personal nobility by being awarded the Cross of Honor of the Order of the Württemberg Crown .
