Josef Borde
Josef Borde (born October 25, 1904 in Eulau , † January 2, 1978 in Zurich ) was a Swiss alpinist and inventor .
After training as a watchmaker in the Sudetenland , he moved to Switzerland.
Josef Borde held several patents. His ski boot tension lever lock, the handy gasoline-powered on-board burner and the heatable aluminum on-board bottle, which was also used by the mountain troops of the Swiss Army , became known.
