The Ocean City Residential Historic District is a district of historic building importance in Ocean City , New Jersey and listed as a Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places .
Located roughly between 3rd and 8th Streets and Central and Ocean Avenues, Ocean City Residential is 44.6 acres . The Historic District consists of 155 contributing properties , each with a variety of architectural styles , including Second Empire , Queen Anne Style , Colonial Revival Architecture , Historicism and the American Arts and Crafts Movement . Development of the Ocean City Residential Historic District began in 1879 and was completed by the late 1920s. Ocean City Residential was listed as a Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places on March 20, 2003 .
