Orges Shehi (born September 20 or 25, 1977 in Durrës ) is a former Albanian football player and coach.

Career

In the club

Shehi started his career at KS Teuta Durrës in 1994 . From 1998 to 1999 he was loaned to KS Bylis Ballsh . In summer 2004 he moved to KS Vllaznia Shkodra . A year later he moved to FK Partizani Tirana . He played there for four years until he went to KS Besa Kavaja . However, Shehi only played one season here and moved to KF Skënderbeu Korça on July 1, 2010 .

On July 1, 2018, Shehi ended his career as a player at KF Skënderbeu, but took over the coaching position for one year.

In the national team

At the age of 34 he made his international debut on February 29, 2012 in a friendly against Georgia in the last minute of the game. The game was lost with 1: 2. He then became the Albanian number 2 in goal in all competitive games, but was only used in friendly games. After the country was able to qualify for a major tournament for the first time at the European Football Championship in France in 2016 , he was also included in the Albanian squad as number 2 goalkeeper . But he was not used in any of the three group games until the team was eliminated.
