Josef Gammer

Josef Gammer (born March 5, 1859 in Auggenthal , † June 28, 1933 in Haugsdorf ) was an Austrian politician ( SDAP ). Between 1919 and 1921 he was a member of the Lower Austria-Land Curia of the Lower Austrian Parliament .

Gammer served with the Dragoons until 1882 and then worked as a winegrower and smallholder. From 1894 he was active as secretary of the social democratic farmers' association "Eintracht" and in 1899 became head of the Haugsdorf consumer association. He was a member of the state culture council and ran unsuccessfully in the elections for the House of Representatives of the Reichsrat in 1907 and 1911. Between May 20, 1919 and May 11, 1921 he represented the SDAP in the Lower Austria-Land Curia of the Lower Austrian Parliament.
