Josef Gamper

Josef Gamper (born January 20, 1856 in Vienna ; † unknown) was an Austrian mineralogist .

Gamper studied at the University of Vienna , where he was provisional assistant at the Mineralogical Institute under Albrecht Schrauf from 1876 to 1878 . In 1877 he withdrew a dissertation submitted in the subject mineralogy Occurrence of Latzulite Fresnitzgraben near Krieglach . In 1883 he was awarded a Dr. med. PhD.
