Josef Gräßl

Josef Gräßl (born June 10, 1887 in Stadtamhof , † April 29, 1964 in Regensburg ) was a German master baker and politician.

Career

In 1913 Gräßl passed the master craftsman's examination in the bakery trade and took over his parents' business after military service in 1918. Before 1933 he was 2nd head master of the Regensburg baker's guild and from 1945 provisional head master and commissioner for the master craftsman's exams.

From 1919 to 1924 he was city ​​councilor for the Bavarian People's Party in Stadtamhof and, after incorporation, from 1924 to 1933 a member of the city council of Regensburg. From 1946 he was a member of the city council again as a member of the CSU .

From December 1947 to December 1959 he was a representative of the trade in the Bavarian Senate .
