Josef Hechenbichler
Josef Hechenbichler (born August 31, 1945 in Kössen ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). From 1994 to 2008 he was a member of the Tyrolean state parliament .
Josef Hechenbichler attended elementary school in Kössen / Bichlach between 1951 and 1959 . From 1960 Hechenbichler worked on his parents' farm, from 1962 to 1964 he graduated from the Rotholz Agricultural College . In 1968 Hechenbichler passed the master's examination in the agricultural master class. He has been working as an independent farmer since 1981.
Hechenbichler was a member of the Kössen municipal council between 1974 and 1980 and was elected vice mayor in 1980. Between 1989 and 1998 he was mayor. In addition, the politician was chairman of the district chamber of agriculture from 1991 to 1995 .
From April 5, 1994, Hechenbichler was a member of the Tyrolean state parliament. He was in the XII., XIII. and XIV. legislative period each elected to the state parliament via the district election proposal Kitzbühel . Hechenbichler was a member of various committees during his term of office, but has been a member of the Agriculture and Forestry Committee without interruption since 1994. After the state elections in 2008 , Hechenbichler resigned from the state parliament on July 1, 2008, as he had not been given a secure place on the list.
