Josef Huber is a former German soccer player who was active for FC Bayern Munich .

Career

Huber belonged to FC Bayern Munich in the 1954/55 season and played as a striker in two league matches in the Oberliga Süd , the top German division at the time. He made his debut on August 22, 1954 (1st matchday) in the 3-2 defeat in the away game against TSV Schwaben Augsburg and played his second league game on September 12, 1954 (4th matchday) in a 3-2 win against KSV Hessen Kassel in the stadium on Grünwalder Strasse . With only six of 30 games won, he finished with his team in 16th and last place in the table this season; FC Bayern Munich had to relegate to the 2nd Oberliga Süd for the first time - and this is still unique today . In this he played only the home game won 2-0 against KSV Hessen Kassel on April 22, 1956 (31st matchday), in which he scored the goal to the final score in the 81st minute.
