Josef Jitzchak Paritzky

Josef Jitzchak Paritzky ( Hebrew יוסף יצחק פריצקי, Born September 14, 1955 in Beit HaKerem, Jerusalem) is an Israeli politician and journalist who is admitted to the bar in both Israel and the USA. From February 28, 2003 to July 13, 2004, he was Minister of Energy and Water in the government of Ariel Sharon . He introduced the “natural gas system” in Israel and initiated radical changes with regard to the electricity and water supply. He introduced the “Infrastructure Undersea Tunnel” project between Turkey and Israel. Paritzky issued licenses for the first private energy companies in Israel.
