Josef Koenigsberg
Josef Königsberg (* 1924 in Katowice ) is a Polish and German journalist .
Life
Königsberg was persecuted as a Jew in World War II and lost his parents and siblings. He himself survived several years imprisonment in German concentration camps . In post-war Poland he worked as a journalist on the Wroclaw Radio. Today he lives with his family in Essen .
He started writing books at the age of 82. In most of his short stories, the life of the first-person narrator takes unexpected turns.
