Josef Kronister (* 1961 in Melk ) is an Austrian civil servant and district captain in the Sankt Pölten-Land district .

education and profession

Josef Kronister graduated from the Stiftsgymnasium Melk and joined the Lower Austrian regional service in January 1980. He studied law part-time ( academic degree : Mag. Iur. ) And then completed his legal practice .

In 1989 he was transferred to the legal administrative service and worked at the St. Pölten District Authority, where he became deputy district captain in 1995. He also held this position from March 1999 to March 2000 at the Gmünd District Administration and from March 2000 to July 2002 at the Scheibbs District Administration .

Kronister was later appointed district captain of Hollabrunn , on October 1, 2005 he changed to St. Pölten, where he succeeded Josef Sodar .

Josef Kronister is also involved in the Red Cross , where he was district manager in St. Pölten until October 10, 2014. He was presented with the Henry Dunant bust in gold. He is also a member of the Kiwanis Club St. Pölten.

He lives in Karlstetten .
