Josef Kubásek (born May 6, 1985 in Polička , Pardubický kraj ) is a former Czech football player on the goalkeeping position .
Club career
In his youth, Josef Kubásek played for Sokol Bystré u Poličky, Spartak Polička, FK Pardubice 1899 and FK AS Pardubice .
The goalkeeper made his debut for Pardubice in the 2005/06 season in the 2nd division . When the club sold its professional license to FK Baník Sokolov in the summer of 2006 , Kubásek went to Sokolov alongside many other players on the team . There the talented goalkeeper was number one from the start, and he was also used in the Czech U-21 team.
In January 2008 Kubásek was signed on loan from Slavia Prague . For the 2008/09 season, the goalkeeper moved to FK Mladá Boleslav . There he came on only one assignment as a deputy to Miroslav Miller . In the summer of 2009 he joined 1. FC Slovácko . As number three behind Miroslav Filipko and Petr Vašek also only used once. He left the club for FK Baník Most , where he ended his career in 2010.
