Josef Marchsteiner

Josef Marchsteiner (born February 27, 1909 in Kaltenbach ; † July 24, 1968 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. Marchsteiner was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1945 to 1964 .

Marchsteiner attended the agricultural school in Hubertendorf after primary school and was involved in youth organizations from 1924. He worked professionally as a farmer in Modlisch , where he was awarded the professional title of Economics Council. In 1945 Marchsteiner became a local councilor in Schwarzenau , between 1955 and 1965 he was also an executive councilor and from 1946 to 1947 district farmer's chairman. In addition, from 1955 to 1967 he held the office of district farmers 'chamber chairman and from 1961 to 1965 he was farmers' treasurer. He also worked as a councilor.

Marchsteiner represented the ÖVP between December 12, 1945 and June 19, 1964 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
