Modlisch is a locality and as Modlitsch a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Schwarzenau in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 15 building areas with 11,850 m² and 14 gardens on 7,929 m² in the cadastral municipality of Modlitsch , in 1989/1990 there were 16 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 45 and in 2009/2010 there were 20 buildings on 46 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 118 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 30 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 114 hectares and 34 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 108 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 34 hectares. The average soil climate of Modlitsch is 24.5 (as of 2010).
