Limpfings is a locality and a cadastral municipality in the Schwarzenau municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 27 building areas with 12,700 m² and 17 gardens on 4,288 m² in the cadastral municipality of Limpfings , in 1989/1990 there were 26 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 63 and in 2009/2010 there were 31 buildings on 62 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 134 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 8 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 121 hectares and 11 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 120 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 11 hectares. The average soil climate number of Limpfings is 29.4 (as of 2010).
