Hausbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Schwarzenau in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 96 building areas with 39,741 m² and 42 gardens on 21,709 m² in the cadastral municipality of Hausbach , in 1989/1990 there were 94 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 213 and in 2009/2010 there were 104 buildings on 223 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 305 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 80 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 300 hectares and 82 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 283 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 82 hectares. Hausbach's average soil climate number is 29.4 (as of 2010).
