Josef Maringer

Josef Maringer (born March 14, 1862 in Bruderndorf ; † February 13, 1950 in Groß Gerungs ) was an Austrian politician ( CSP ) and business owner. From 1919 to 1921 he was a member of the state parliament of Lower Austria .

Maringer attended elementary school and at the age of 24 took over his parents' farm. From 1891 he became politically active in the community committee and was elected executive councilor in 1894. From 1900 he took over the office of mayor of Siebenhöf . He was also a member of the District Roads Committee and District Poor Council. In 1918 he also took over the role of deputy chairman of the agricultural district association. He was a member of the Lower Austrian Landtag from May 20, 1919, where he was a member of the Lower Austria-Land Curia between November 30, 1920 and May 11, 1921 during the phase of separation of Vienna from Lower Austria. Maringer left the state parliament on May 11, 1921.
