Josef Panzenböck

Josef Panzenböck (born August 10, 1900 in Waldegg , Lower Austria , † November 12, 1984 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ).

Life

As a child, Josef Panzenböck only had a simple school education. From 1906 to 1914 he completed elementary school in Waldegg. He then worked as a laborer and machine foreman at a company in Pernitz in Lower Austria.

In 1929 he was elected to the Waldegg municipal council for the socialist party , to which he was to belong until 1934.

After the war he was admitted as a registrar through a second course of education ; in this profession he worked from 1953.

In December 1962 Panzenböck became a member of the Federal Council in Vienna. However, he was Federal Councilor for just under two years, until November 1964.
