Josef Robl

Josef Robl (born May 6, 1918 in Kleinrötz ; † April 8, 2005 in Stockerau ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmers' union director. Robl was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1959 to 1981 and its president from 1969 .

After primary school, Robl attended secondary school in Korneuburg and Stockerau and served in the military between 1938 and 1945 during the Second World War . He then studied agriculture at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences and graduated with the academic degree Dipl.-Ing. from. Robl was secretary in the Lower Austrian Farmers 'Union from 1948 and between 1966 and 1983 the Lower Austrian Farmers' Union director. Robl represented the ÖVP between June 4, 1959 and April 9, 1981 in the Lower Austrian state parliament and was its president from November 20, 1969. Robl was awarded the professional title of Economics Council.
