Josef Schreiner was a German cross-country skier in the 1930s.

Career

Schreiner, who started for WSV Aschau and later for SC Ruhpolding and SLV Bernau , achieved his first successes at the beginning of the 1930s. He won gold in singles at the Bavarian Championships in 1933. A year later, Schreiner won the silver medal behind the team from Finland in the 4 x 10 kilometer relay at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Sollefteå in 1934 , together with Herbert Leupold , Willy Bogner senior and Walter Motz . Previously, he had already secured two silver medals at the German championships.

At the German championships in 1937 he won the German championship over 4 × 10 km together with the brothers Hans and Adam Speckbacher and Toni Zeller .
